演題 「信頼性の高いターゲットトランスレーションのための統合的前臨床戦略」

要旨 Translating novel immunology targets into the clinic requires rigorous and integrated preclinical strategies. The WuXi Immunology Center combines in vitro and in vivo platforms to enable efficient target validation and drug discovery. We will begin with an overview of type 2 immunity pathways and the evolving therapeutic landscape, followed by a case study in atopic dermatitis models. This will illustrate how thoughtful selection of preclinical models can strengthen efficacy studies and build confidence in advancing type 2 immunity-directed drug candidates. We will then focus on the type 1 immunity pathway TL1A, reviewing its biology and relevance in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). A second case study will demonstrate model selection approaches for evaluating TL1A-targeted therapies in preclinical IBD settings. Finally, we will present our in vivo platform capabilities, highlighting how integrated expertise and strategic model design help de-risk development programs and accelerate translation of promising candidates to the clinic.
